[2] Hunter Biden's former best friend who served as the director of Ukrainian energy company Burisma along with him is expected to testify in an upcoming hearing regarding phone conversations President Biden had with his son's business associates.

[4] 48 -year -old Devin Archer will appear before the House Oversight Committee and is expected to testify that Hunter Biden put his father on the phone roughly two dozen times as Hunter spoke to his foreign business partners or business investors.
[5] As was first reported by the New York Post, a close associate of Archer said he is testifying out of his obligation to his civic duty.
[6] Joe Biden has repeatedly claimed he did not speak with his son about Hunter's foreign business dealings.
[7] Texas Governor Greg Abbott is refusing to remove floating barriers intended to secure the southern border.
[8] The Biden administration threatened to sue Abbott over the structures are arguing that they flout federal law.
[9] But on Monday, Abbott officially responded, writing, quote, Texas will fully utilize its constitutional authority to deal with the crisis you have caused.
[10] Texas will see you in court, Mr. President.
[11] On July 14th, Mexico's top diplomat officially complained to the U .S. about the structures as well.
[12] Twitter CEO, Linda Yakorino, revealed on Sunday that Twitter is changing its name, its logo, and the future of the platform under a new brand named X. Here with more is Daily Wire reporter Tim Pierce.
[13] Yuckarino said, quote, Twitter made one massive impression and changed the way we communicate.
[14] Now, X will go further, transforming the global town square.
[15] She added that X is the future state of unlimited interactivity, with plans for the platform to expand beyond a social media site to include banking in a virtual marketplace that will all be powered by artificial intelligence.
[16] That means that iconic Bluebird logo is now gone, replaced with a black and white X. Israeli lawmakers approved today a key part of a judicial overhaul plan that removes the Supreme Court's ability to strike down government decisions it deems, quote, unreasonable.
[17] Critics say it would mark a move away from democratic ideals, while supporters said it would claw back some power from unelected judges.
[18] Lawmakers against the measure stormed out of the chamber ahead of the vote, resulting in a 640 approval.
[19] Here's how that sounded.
[20] A previously planned vote on the measure was supposed to take place during the last legislative session, but it was delayed after protests against the effort ensued.
[21] Today, thousands of protesters filled the streets near the Knesset where the country's parliament gathers.
[22] They were met with a heavy police presence.
[23] Following a four -year term ruled by a left -wing government, millions in Spain headed to the polls to vote yesterday in the country's snap election.
[24] As the BBC reports, the Conservative Popular Party won the most seats.
[25] with 136, but failed to achieve an outright majority.
[26] The Socialist Party came in second with 122 seats, faring better than most observers had expected, while the left -wing Sumar 131 seats.
[27] Experts anticipated that the Conservative Popular Party and the Vox Party would form a conservative coalition.
[28] But the two parties have won a total of 169 seats, seven short of the 176 required for a majority.
[29] Left -wing parties may attempt to come together to see if they've got the numbers to govern.
[30] Trader Joe's has recalled two of its cookie brands, almond windmill cookies and dark chocolate chunk almond cookies because the products might contain rocks.
[31] The company did not say how the stones were mixed up with the tasty treats, but encouraged consumers to either throw away their cookies or return the items for a full refund.
[32] And good news for political memorabilia collectors, the Washington Examiner reported Monday that the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and museum will soon be adding a new $30 bobblehead of special counsel, Jack Smith, the prosecutor investigating former President Donald Trump.
[33] The Hall of Fame Museum's co -founder, Phil Sklar, told the examiner that, quote, a bobblehead is one fun and unique way for people to commemorate those unique historic events.
