[2] Amid increased pressure from the press, the White House has continued to defend President Biden's handling of the classified document scandal, stating that he was not aware the documents were in his possession.

[23] He was ordered to be held without bail.

[25] New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced this week that four city -run health clinics would begin offering a total of 10 ,000 free abortion pills as early as today.

[26] The mayor's announcement came just 24 hours after nearly two dozen attorneys general sent a letter to the FDA Commissioner Robert Caliph, urging the agency to reverse its decision increasing access to the pills, arguing that they endanger women's health.

[27] Archaeologists from the University of Oslo and the Oslo Museum of Cultural History believe they've discovered the world's oldest rune stone in Norway, dating back to between AD1 and AD 250, the team behind the finding announced Tuesday.

[28] The artifact is considered one of the earliest examples of written words in Scandinavia.

[29] This week, Climate Activism Organization Greenpeace issued a scathing rebuke of World Economic Forum attendees after a report found that approximately 140 private jets flew in and out of airports servicing Davos during last year's conference.

[30] The activist pointed out that the vast majority of such flights could have been replaced with trains or more climate -friendly vehicles.

[31] A French nun believed to be the oldest living person in the world has died.

[32] Lucille Randon, known as Sister Andre, was 118 years old and less than a month shy of her 119th birthday.

[33] She believed working kept her young and says she worked until she was 108 years old.
