[2] A New York State Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that a group of New York City government workers who were fired for refusing to comply with COVID -19 vaccine mandates must be reinstated to their full employment and are entitled to back pay and salary from the date of termination.
[3] The judge, Ralph J. Porzio, determined that the city's mandate for government employees was fundamentally about compliance rather than health and safety.
[4] A new national poll from WPA intelligence revealed roughly half of Hispanic American voters believed the U .S. is on the wrong track, citing key issues impacting their views on the current political climate, particularly crime, health care, and inflation.
[5] Former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton weighed in on election integrity in a video posted to Twitter this week, warning about the wrong.
[6] Wright's plans to, quote, steal the 2024 election.

[14] Authorities have arrested a suspect, but the initial police report does not mention a political dispute.
[15] Home prices are falling at a record pace, according to data released on Tuesday from the S &P Index.
[16] The report shows a 13 % annual gain in August.
[17] marking a 2 .6 percent decline from the previous month and the largest plummet in housing costs since the metric was created in 1987.
[18] Experts say the drop is due to fewer Americans taking out mortgages as the Fed raises interest rates.
[19] WNBA star Brittany Greiner's nine -year prison sentence was upheld on Tuesday during a Moscow regional court hearing.
[20] The Phoenix Mercury Center and her legal team had hoped for an acquittal or reduction in the sentence stemming from the cannabis -related charges, claiming that the sentence was too severe and politically motivated.
[21] Griner spoke to the media from behind bars Tuesday morning.

[23] Convicted murderer Scott Peterson has been officially removed from death row after California's Supreme Court overturned his death sentence for killing his pregnant wife, Lacey, on Christmas Eve, in 2002.
[24] And Ash Carter, who served as President Obama's Secretary of Defense, passed away at the age of 68, his family announced Tuesday.
[25] Carter died from a sudden cardiac event while in Boston, according to ABC News.
[26] Carter was known for opening military jobs to women and allowing transgender people to serve in the military.
