[6] A Mariscaargo ship hit the Francis Scott Key Bridge, causing it to completely crumble and collapse at 1 .30 in the morning.
[7] Daily Wire's senior editor, Cabot Phillips, has the latest.
[8] The disaster took place after the massive container ship collided with one of the bridge's support structures.
[9] The scene was all captured on video.
[10] Cars on the bridge and a construction crew working at the time plunged into the 47 -degree water below.
[11] Maryland Governor Westmore declared a state of emergency over the event.
[12] He says the cargo ship reported a power issue and issued a Mayday a few moments before the collision with the bridge.
[13] The governor says this is very much still a rescue operation as an unknown number of individuals plunged into the water.
[14] Meanwhile, the NTSB says they're investigating the incident.
[15] I'm going to get questions on fatalities and injuries, which I'm not going to answer.
[16] That is not something that the NTSB answers.
[17] I will refer you to local authorities on all of that information.
[18] What I can tell you is a search and rescue is still underway.
[19] So we are very hopeful.
[20] And, again, our thoughts are with the families and their loved ones.
[21] President Biden also gave remarks addressing the situation.
[22] I told them we're going to send all the federal resources they need as we respond to this emergency.
[23] I mean, all the federal resources.
[24] And we're going to rebuild that port together.

[32] According to CNBC, the stock surge has added $4 billion, at least on paper, to Trump's net worth.
[33] The U .S. Supreme Court heard arguments today over access to the abortion pill Mitha Pristone.
[34] Daily Wire reporter Amanda Press -Azacamo has more.
[35] The High Court appeared skeptical today of arguments made by the group seeking to limit access to the pill, as the Biden administration seeks to keep it widely available.
[36] The hearing stems from the administration's appeal of a lower court's ruling that would limit how the medication is distributed.
[37] The Solicitor General representing the Biden administration argued that it changed to the FDA's ability to approve medications would have grave ramifications.
[38] Meanwhile, the group legally challenging the drug represented by the Alliance Defending Freedom claims the FDA failed to adequately evaluate the drug's safety risk.
[39] RFK Jr. has chosen a VP for his 2024 presidential run.

[42] Here's RFK.
[43] I also wanted a vice president who shares my indignation about the participation of big tech as a partner in the censorship and their surveillance and the information warfare that our government is currently waging against the American people.
[44] And that's why I'm bringing on someone with a deep inside knowledge of how big tech uses AI to manipulate the public.

[70] Over the past couple of years, more than 100 million poultry birds died or were killed due to respiratory infection.
[71] Here's Texas A &M Agriculture Professor David, Anderson.
[72] Prices go up before Easter because all of a sudden we've got a little more demand, and it's because of Easter egg hunts.
[73] We do see prices go down once we're past the kind of the Easter holiday demand bump.
[74] That demand gets behind us, and prices come back down again.
