[7] The FBI says it has opened a criminal investigation into the cargo ship crash that caused a Baltimore bridge to collapse.
[8] Daily Wire reporter Tim Peer says more.
[9] The Baltimore branch of the FBI confirmed today that federal agents would board the 985 -foot vessel to collect physical evidence and data related to the crash.
[10] The Bureau will look into whether the ship left port and whether crew members had prior knowledge that the vessel may have had mechanical problems.
[11] The federal probe comes as the city says it is taking legal steps to hold the wrongdoers accountable for any long -term harm caused to Baltimore City residents.
[12] The cargo ship collided into one of the main supports of the Francis Scott Key bridge last month, which caused the bridge to snap and tumble into the Patapsco River.
[13] At the time of the collapse, workers were pouring concrete to fix potholes on the bridge.
[14] Six were reported missing.
[15] Three bodies were recovered and the other three are presumed dead.

[19] Manhattan District Attorney Albin Bragg has charged former President Trump with nearly three dozen counts of falsifying business records.
[20] Those charges stem from an alleged hush payment of $130 ,000, that Trump's attorney Michael Cohen made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels to keep her from going public about an alleged affair.
[21] Trump then repaid Cohen over the course of several payments, allegedly marking them as, quote, legal fees in company records.
[22] Trump has denied that the affair ever happened and pleaded not guilty to what he called politically motivated charges.
[23] Here's the former president talking to reporters outside the court.
[24] Every legal scholar said this case is nonsense that should never have been brought.
[25] This is political persecution.
[26] This is a persecution like never before.
[27] Nobody's ever seen anything like it.
[28] And again, it's a case that should have never been brought.
[29] Trump is required to be at the trial in person, which will take place four days a week and could last to eight weeks.

[34] Iran's operation was entirely in the exercise of Iran's inherent right to self -defense as outlined in Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations and recognized by international law.
[35] Israel's ambassador to the UN made it a point to say that this is not the only incident in which Iran should be held accountable.
[36] The Iranian regime not only spreads evil abroad, but also torments and murders their own.
[37] own citizens.
[38] In 2023 alone, the Ayatollah regime executed 834 Iranians.

[45] Police say that a number of people were stabbed, but that none of the injuries appear to be life -threatening.
[46] The male suspect has been arrested.
[47] AP reports that hundreds of people rushed to the scene the crime, and some of them went on to clash with riot police.
[48] The stabbing spree comes two days after a similar incident at a shopping mall in the city, in which a man stabbed six people to death, five women and one man. The father of the 40 -year -old suspect, who was shot dead by police, says his son was frustrated about not having a girlfriend.
[49] Dozens of people were shot in Chicago over the weekend with at least eight killed and 40 others wounded.
[50] CBS Chicago reports that among the victims were several children at a family gathering in the city's back of the yard's neighborhood.
[51] Police say the deadly incident was not a random act of violence and likely gang -related.

[55] Democratic Governor Jared Polis has also indicated concern over such a ban.
[56] And the 128th edition of the Boston Marathon hit the ground running today, with over 30 ,000 runners from over 100 countries expected to participate.
