[6] Israel's military officials confirmed today that their forces have taken over the Gaza side of the Rafaf crossing.
[7] Daily Wire reporter Tim Pierce has the latest.
[8] The Israeli Defense Force says it began a precise counterterrorism operation in Eastern Rafa.
[9] IDF intelligence found that the area was being optimized for terrorist purposes.
[10] Officials with the IDF say their primary objectives are to eliminate Hamas terrorists and take down terrorist infrastructure.
[11] Ahead of the operation, Israel warned Rafa residents and urged them to evacuate to an area in Al -Mawasi.
[12] There, the IDF facilitated the expansion of field hospitals and tents, and increased water, food, and medical supplies.
[13] Israeli forces also warned international organizations in the area to temporarily evacuate.
[14] Four IDF soldiers were killed, and several others were injured during the operation.
[15] Around 20 Hamas terrorists were killed.
[16] President Biden condemned anti -Semitism in the U .S. and across the globe during a Holocaust remembrance ceremony today.
[17] The president's remarks that the Capitol come as anti -Israel protests continue to send college campuses across the country into chaos.
[18] Many of these protests have involved anti -Semitic chance and threats toward Jewish students and supporters of Israel.

[26] Biden steered clear of the upcoming presidential election in his speech, but his address came as former President Trump has criticized the incumbent for not doing more to combat anti -Semitism and campus violence.
[27] Congresswoman Ilhan Omar could soon be hit with another censure resolution for comments she made while visiting Columbia University.
[28] The Democratic Congresswoman from Minnesota referred to some Jewish students as pro -genocide during the visit to the Ivy League school, which has been at the center of nationwide anti -Israel protests.
[29] As a source close to the matter tells Fox News, Representative Don Bacon is introducing the resolution against Omar today.
[30] The resolution calls Omar's comments slanderous against Jewish students and says they could inflame violence.
[31] Stormy Daniels took to the stand today to testify in Donald Trump's New York hush money trial.

[33] Daniels offered a detailed and at times salacious account of her time spent with Trump back in 2007.
[34] According to her testimony, Daniels initially turned down a dinner invitation from Trump before changing her mind after her then publicist encouraged her to attend.
[35] It was after that dinner that Daniels claims Trump initiated sex in his hotel suite.
[36] State prosecutors pushed Daniels to go into great detail regarding the alleged encounter, drawing multiple objections from Trump's lawyers, a number of which were sustained.
[37] with Judge Mershahn at one point telling the prosecution they did not need such a detailed description of events.
[38] Following a break for lunch, Trump's defense team moved for a missed trial over Daniel's testimony, but it was denied by Mershant.

[42] TikTok is suing the U .S. government.
[43] The lawsuit comes after a bill passed last month, seeking to force the app's Chinese parent company to sell it or be banned.
[44] The suit claims the bill violates constitutional protections of the First Amendment.
[45] The company argues that national security concerns are not sufficient reasons for restricting free speech.
[46] It goes on to say that, quote, the burden is on the federal government to prove that this restriction is warranted and says that it has not met that burden.
[47] The legal action was anticipated after President Biden signed the bill late last month.
[48] Over a thousand anti -Israel protesters took to Central Park last night after police blocked them from reaching the star -studded Met Gala.
[49] According to authorities, protesters vandalized a World War I memorial with graffiti that spelled Gaza and also burned an American flag nearby.
[50] Others plastered the bronze soldier statues with stickers of the Palestinian flag, climbed atop the statues, and waved Palestinian flags, or draped them over the figures.

[52] And for the first time in its 114 -year history, Boy Scouts of America is changing its name.
[53] The new name will be Scouting America.
[54] Officials with BSA say the change seeks to foster a more inclusive organization.
[55] The rebranding is set to take effect on February 8th, 2025.
[56] That's the organization's 115th anniversary.
[57] While the organization says the move is to make everyone feel welcome, It also comes after BSA faced bankruptcy and a number of sexual abuse allegations.
[58] The organization's CEO Roger Crone says while the name is new, the mission remains the same.
[59] The argument that I make with the people that say, well, I always like Boy Scouts of America or BSA, why do we have to change?
[60] You know, membership is at historic lows.
[61] Part of my job is to reduce all the barriers I possibly can for people to accept us as an organization.
