[4] In a statement on social media, William says, said, quote, to invite a group that makes a blatant and deeply offensive mockery of my religion and the religion of over four million people in L .A. County alone undermines the values of respect and inclusivity that should be upheld by any organization.
[5] Russia is blaming the Ukrainian government for a, quote, kamikaze drone attack on a wealthy Moscow neighborhood this morning.
[6] Here with more is Daily Wire senior editor, Joel Needler.
[7] Russian President Vladimir Putin called the incident a terrorist attack.
[8] Moscow mayor Sergei Savoyanan said that the drones caused insignificant damage, but that the incident brought the war home to the streets of Moscow.
[9] Russia, for its part, claimed that it shot down five drones and prevented more damage from occurring.
[10] Ukraine has not taken responsibility for the attack, and the White House said that it does not support attacks inside Russian territory.
[11] The incident comes just weeks after U .S. intelligence reported that Ukraine was likely responsible for a drone attack on the Kremlin in April.
[12] Speaker of the House, Kevin McCarthy, is claiming victory over his debt deal negotiated with the Biden administration, but he still has to corral the votes to get it passed.
[13] Meanwhile, some of his GOP colleagues are raising concerns over the bill.
[14] Daily Wire reporter Zach Jewell has more.
[15] South Carolina Representative Nancy Mays says she will not vote in favor of the debt ceiling deal, contending that Republicans were hoodwinked and that the agreement would normalize high spending.
[16] Among other measures, the deal suspends the debt limit.
[17] until 2025, caps spending growth for the next two years in areas except for defense and veterans, and expands work requirements for food stamps for those between 49 and 54 years old.
[18] However, Mace said that this deal, quote, normalizes record high spending started during the pandemic.
[19] And Mace isn't alone in her concerns.
