[5] Fauci also blamed former President Trump's accusatory relationship with the Chinese for the communist nation's refusal to be transparent about the virus.
[6] If you look at the anti -China approach that clearly the Trump administration had right from the very beginning and the accusatory nature, the Chinese are going to flinch back and say, oh, I'm sorry, we're not going to talk to you about it.
[7] Keep the politics out of it.
[8] Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut told the press that President Biden has probably not secured the needed 60 votes to pass gun control in the lame duck session of Congress.
[9] Appearing on CNN's State of the Union on Sunday, Murphy threw cold white, on Biden's hopes to pass a so -called assault weapons ban.
[10] I'm glad that President Biden is going to be pushing us to take a vote on an assault weapons ban.
[11] The House has already passed it.
[12] It's sitting in front of the Senate.
[13] Does it have 60 votes in the Senate right now?
[14] Probably not.
[15] But let's see if we can try to get that number as close to 60 as possible.
[16] If we don't have the votes, then we'll talk to Senator Schumer and maybe come back next year with maybe an additional senator and see if we can do better.
[17] The suspect charged with murdering 10 people in a mass shooting in May at the supermarket in Buffalo, New York, pled guilty on Monday morning on all charges.

[27] This comes after more than 50 million birds were slaughtered nationwide earlier this year due to outbreaks.
[28] The Heritage Foundation spent more than $1 million on national TV ads over Thanksgiving weekend, encouraging U .S. senators to vote against the new bill codifying same -sex marriage until new religious liberty protections are added to the bill.
