[0] Hey, I'm Daily Wire Editor -in -Chief John Bickley with Georgia Howl.
[1] It's Tuesday, November 1st, and this is your Morning Wire afternoon update.
[2] The Supreme Court issued a stay this morning, temporarily blocking former President Trump from having to turn over his tax records to Democrats on the House Ways and Means Committee.
[3] Since 2019, the committee has been attempting to subpoena the documents to investigate any potential tax fraud conducted by Trump.
[4] Trump's legal team requested the stay on Monday.
[5] A new bombshell report from the state.
[6] The Intercept revealed that the FBI and Department of Homeland Security coordinated with big tech companies to crack down on misinformation and block certain forms of speech in recent years, raising questions about the government's ongoing censorship efforts.
[7] The Intercept's investigative journalist Lee Fang discussed the story on Fox News.
[8] We looked at really hundreds of documents that paint a vivid picture of the FBI, the DHS, closely collaborating with the top social media platforms, Twitter and Facebook.
[9] to censor various forms of content under the banner of fighting disinformation.
[10] The sentencing of the Florida shooter who killed 17 people and injured 17 more at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in 2018 began Tuesday morning.
[11] Victim's families sought the death sentence for the shooter, but he was given life in prison.
[12] A relative of one of the victims slammed the shooter and the jury in court.
[13] if killing 17 my innocent people and wounding 17 more does not warrant the death penalty than what possibly does.
[14] I'm too old to see you without your life sentence.
[15] Repend for your sins, Nicholas, and burning hell.
[16] The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday that Saudi Arabia shared intelligence with the U .S., warning of imminent Iranian attacks on the Saudi Kingdom as well as Iraq, putting American forces on elevated alert.
[17] This week, California governor Gavin Newsom blamed Fox News host Jesse Waters for aiding and abetting the violent attack against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband, Paul Pelosi, early Friday morning.
[18] Newsom argued that Waters helped foster a climate where political violence seemed reasonable.
[19] I've seen the dehumanization of Nancy Pelosi.
[20] I don't think anyone's been dehumanized like she has consistently.
[21] I watched this one guy was Jesse Waters or something on Fox News.
[22] what he's been saying about Paul Pelosi the last five, six months, mocking him consistently.
[23] Don't tell me that's not aiding and betting all this.
[24] Of course it is.
[25] Waters hit back, claiming that Newsom's policies were more to blame for allowing the suspect David DePappi to remain on the streets of San Francisco in the first place.
[26] If anything, Gavin Newsom has done more to aid and abet this attack on Paul Pelosi than anybody.
[27] David DePape is a homeless criminal and an illegal alien.
[28] DePape overstayed his visa for years.
[29] Committed crimes.
[30] California is a sanctuary state, so he was never deported.
[31] So let me ask you a question.
[32] Who's more at fault here?
