[1] It's Friday, May 19th, and this is your Morning Wire afternoon update.

[2] Republican Tennessee lawmakers want the Covenant School Shooters' writings, medical records, and toxicology reports to be made public.

[3] The lawmakers signed a letter this week saying they cannot pass gun reform put forward by Governor Bill Lee until they have all the facts.

[4] Officials at Covenant School have taken action to keep some of the documents private.

[5] A judge is expected to rule on whether or not to release the so -called manifesto in June.

[6] Deutsche Bank has agreed to pay $75 million to settle a class action lawsuit filed by an alleged victim of Jeffrey Epstein.

[7] The female listed as Jane Doe in court papers says she was abused by Epstein and trafficked to his friends for 15 years.

[8] She claims that the bank enabled Epstein to operate his alleged sex ring.

[9] The money will be used to compensate several of Epstein's victims.

[10] The price tag for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth last year has been revealed in a report to Parliament.

[11] The day's long memorial, which was attended by many world leaders, cost the UK government 162 million pounds.

[12] That translates to nearly $200 million.

[13] America isn't the only nation experiencing a mass influx of asylum seekers.

[14] Ireland has accepted tens of thousands of refugees in recent years, and its government recently warned that the country could expect 80 ,000.

[15] a thousand asylees in 2023 alone.

[16] Mass protests against that plan have rocked the small country of five million.

[17] According to the Irish Examiner, the Irish Refugee Council has called for asylum seekers to be taken off the streets in the wake of the protests.

[18] Now the Irish government is seriously considering housing the refugees on cruise ships off the coast of Cork known as flotels.

[19] Tennis legend Raphael Nadal has pulled out of the 2023 French Open.

[20] Nadal announced that he will not compete due to a hip injury he suffered in January.

[21] Nadal, a native of Spain, has dominated France's red clay throughout his career, winning it a record 14 times.

[22] The iconic hot dog company, Oscar Meyer, is renaming its classic Wiener Mobile to the Frank Mobile.

[23] The move, Kraft Heinz says, quote, pays homage to the brand's 100 % beef franks as it debuts a to the big screen this time at the Cannes Film Festival.

[24] 80 -year -old Harrison Ford stars as Professor Jones and Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny, but says it will be the last time he plays the beloved character.

[25] This is the first time in Indiana Jones film will not be directed by Stephen Spielberg, though he is credited as producer.
