The Cincinnati Reds have a clear reason to go for the NL Central crown this season. Call up Elly De La Cruz, call up Christian Incarnation-Strand, call up Andrew Abbott and go for it. Matt McLain, Jonathan India, Spencer Steer, and company are showing that they aren't that far off and have lots of people excited about the Reds again. Don't take that excitement and lose it by not committing to competing. The opportunity continues as the Reds face the Boston Red Sox for three games. While the Red Sox, led by Rafael Devers, can hit, their pitching has been suspect. Steer, India, McLain, and company should continue to hit in this series and if they do, the Reds could steal a series. Also, the blindness of MLB was on full display on Memorial Day. There is a very easy thing they should have done that we will discuss to end today's podcast.
