[2] A Los Angeles judge sentenced Harvey Weinstein to 16 years in prison on Thursday after a jury convicted him of a 2013 rape and sexual assault of an Italian actress and model.
[3] The sentence comes on top of the more than 20 years, Weinstein, who's 70 years old, has left to serve from a similar conviction in New York.
[4] The European Union's executive branch says that it has temporarily banned TikTok from phones used by employees as a cybersecurity measure.
[5] The move reflects widening worries from Western officials over the Chinese -owned video -sharing app.
[6] About two million Kassori airfriars have been recalled after reports claim the product overheated and caught fire.
[7] In a safety notice posted Thursday, the U .S. Consumer Product Safety Commission urged consumers to immediately stop using the called Krasori Friars.
[8] According to the commission, the wire connection in the air friars can, quote, overheat posing fire and burn hazards.
[9] Five people were killed in a twin -engine plane crash in Little Rock, Arkansas this week.
[10] All five environmental consultants worked for the Center for Toxicology and Environmental Health, and were heading to Columbus, Ohio to investigate the deadly explosion at a metal manufacturing plant in Ohio.
[11] For the first time ever, astronomers have cited a supermassive black hole traveling through space that appears to have been ejected from its host galaxy.

[13] Researchers observing the dwarf galaxy, designated RCP 28, recently noticed an aberrant streak of light via the Hubble telescope.
[14] The galaxy is roughly 7 .5 billion light years away from our solar system.
[15] Alec Baldwin pleaded not guilty to the manslaughter charges against him, arising from the shooting death of Rust cinematographer Helena Hutchins.
[16] Baldwin was slated to be in court Friday, but waived his first appearance.
[17] And NFL star quarterback Aaron Rogers ended his three days of darkness retreat.
[18] The potential Hall of Famer spent 72 hours in a pitch black room in Oregon at a facility known as Sky Cave Retreat.
[19] Roger says the extreme seclusion has benefited his friends in the past and he went to the retreat to help guide his decision -making about his future in the NFL.

[21] And I've had a number of friends who've done it and had some profound experiences And it's something that's been on my radar for a few years now.
[22] And I felt like it'd be awesome to do regardless of where I was leaning after this season.
