[2] The Federal Reserve enacted its smallest rate hike in nearly a year today by raising its key interest rate by 0 .25%.
[3] This is the eighth hike since March.
[4] The Fed signaled that even though inflation is easing, it remains high enough to require further rate hikes.
[5] The FBI searched President Biden's Rahoboth Beach vacation.
[6] home Wednesday morning amid the special counsel's investigation into Biden's handling of classified documents.
[7] The three -and -a -half -hour search reportedly yielded no classified documents, but some, quote, materials and handwritten notes from his time as vice president were taken, according to Biden's team.
[8] Bob Bauer, Biden's personal attorney, said that the search was, quote, conducted with the president's full support and cooperation.
[9] But some, like Republican Senator Charles Barrasso, are demanding answers.
[10] People smell a rat.
[11] He needs to come clean.
[12] I'll tell you, the Senate Intelligence Committee has been stonewalled by this administration.
[13] The president has to tell the American people what's going on, explain himself.
[14] Former President Trump released a video Tuesday promising to ban transgender medical procedures on children if he's elected in 2024.
[15] On day one, I will revoke Joe Biden's cruel policies on so -called gender -affirming care.
[16] Ridiculous.
[17] I will sign a new executive order instructing every federal agency to cease all programs that promote the concept of sex and gender transition at any age.
[18] I will then ask Congress to permanently stop federal taxpayer dollars from being used to promote or pay for these procedures and pass a law prohibiting child sexual mutilation in all 50 states.
[19] It'll go very quickly.
[20] 29 -year -old Tyrene Nichols was laid to rest today following a funeral in Memphis.
[21] The ceremony included a eulogy from Reverend Al Sharpton and remarks from Ben Crump, the racial justice lawyer representing Nichols family.
[22] Nichols was stopped three weeks ago for an alleged traffic violation and died three days later after being severely beaten by police.
[23] A shooting suspect who reportedly referred to himself as the killmonger was arrested by D .C. police after he allegedly shot four bystanders at a shooting suspect.
[24] a metro stop just blocks away from the U .S. Capitol.
[25] One of those victims tragically passed away.
[26] Here's an eyewitness who said he's lucky to be alive.
[27] He ran to the other side to keep shooting with the other guy.
[28] So he runs behind me and said, you'll be safe today.

[30] And I ran back up to escalate because he shot, he shot like two shots down there.
[31] I'm saying, he's shooting and he's shooting and go back up.
[32] The college board announced Wednesday that it will be removing sections of its advanced placement African American Studies history course that focus on critical race theory and queer education.
[33] The decision comes after Florida Governor Ron DeSantis banned the course from his state, claiming that, quote, education is about the pursuit of truth, not the imposition of ideology or the advancement of a political agenda.
[34] We want education, not indoctrination.
[35] When you look to see they have stuff about intersectionality, abolishing prisons, that's a political agenda.
[36] As of late morning, more than a quarter of a million Texas homes and businesses are still without power after the Lone Star State was battered again by ice storms Tuesday night.
[37] And winter weather continues to wreak havoc on air travel.
[38] According to statistics from flight aware, there have been more than 2 ,000 flight cancellations today within, into, or out of the United States, and more than 2 ,000 delays.
[39] NFL quarterback Tom Brady retired again today, this time he says, for good.
[40] In an emotional message he posted on Instagram, the seven -time Super Bowl champion, who many consider the greatest to ever play the game, officially said goodbye.

[46] Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Josh Sills was indicted on one count of rape and one count of kidnapping in Ohio on Wednesday.
[47] That's according to a joint release from Ohio's Attorney General and Guernsey County's sheriff that also says both charges are first -degree felonies.
[48] The indictment comes days before the Eagles are set to play in Super Bowl 57.
[49] On Tuesday, Alec Baldwin was officially charged by prosecutors in New Mexico with involuntary manslaughter.
[50] He allegedly did not go to required firearms.
[51] training before filming began and created a, quote, climate of recklessness on the Rust films set.
