[14] Literally, my hands were shaking.
[15] My heart felt like it was going to beat out of my chest.
[16] I got mad.
[17] I got angry.
[18] I got upset.
[19] I got every emotion one can feel.
[20] It all hit me at the same time.
[21] My daughter was calling me like, what is happening?
[22] What is going on?
[23] Are you watching this?
[24] This is insane.
[25] And I'm like, I have no words.
[26] I'm still trying to process it.
[27] And we're going to try to figure this out.

[37] And what you're doing is very disrespectful to the country, this country, that's backed you far more than a lot of people said they should have.

[39] Hello and welcome to Ukraine, the latest.
[40] We've only recorded an emergency podcast once before.
[41] when Prigozhin launched his mutiny.
[42] But we have just watched one of the most extraordinary press conferences in modern political history, one which could have huge implications, not only for the war, but for the West itself.
[43] President Zelensky had arrived at the White House a few hours earlier, apparently to sign the minerals deal we've discussed in detail so much this week.
[44] The press conference between him, Trump, and Vice President J .D. Vance began cordially.
[45] But then this happened.
[46] He broke in this ceasefire.
[47] He killed our people and he didn't exchange prisoners.
[48] We signed the exchange of prisoners, but he didn't do it.
[49] What kind of diplomacy, J .D., you are speaking about?
[50] What do you mean?
[51] I'm talking about the kind of diplomacy that's going to end the destruction of your country.
[52] Mr. President, Mr. President, with respect, I think it's disrespectful for you to come into the Oval Office and try to litigate this in front of the American media.
[53] Right now, you guys are going around and forcing conscripts to the front lines because you have manpower problems.
[54] You should be thanking the president for trying to bring it into this conflict.
[55] Have you ever been to Ukraine that you say what problems we have?
[56] I have actually watched and seen the stories, and I know what happens is you bring people, you bring them on a propaganda tour, Mr. President.
[57] Do you disagree that you've had problems bringing people into your military?
[58] And do you think that it's respectful to come to the Oval Office of the United States of America and attack the administration that is trying to prevent the destruction of your country?

[113] We gave you, through this stupid president, $350 billion.
[114] We gave you military equipment.
[115] And you men are brave, but they had to use our military.
[116] If you didn't have our military equipment, if you didn't have our military equipment, This war would have been over in two weeks.

[118] I heard it from Putin.
[119] In three days.
[120] This is something new.
[121] Maybe less.
[122] In two weeks.
[123] Of course, yes.
[124] It's going to be a very hard thing to do business like this.
[125] I tell you, to say thank you, except that there are disagreements, and let's go litigate those disagreements rather than trying to fight it out in the American media when you're wrong.
[126] We know that you're wrong.
[127] But you see, I think it's good for the American people to see what's going on.
[128] I think it's very important.
[129] That's why I kept this going so long.
[130] You have to be thankful.
[131] You don't have the cards.
[132] You're buried there.
[133] Your people are dying.
[134] You're running low on soldiers.
[135] Listen, you're running low on soldiers.
[136] It would be a damn good thing.
[137] Then you tell us, I don't want to cease fire.

[142] If you could get a ceasefire right now, I tell you, you take it so the bullets stop flying and your men stop getting killed.

[144] But you're saying you don't want a ceasefire?
[145] But I said to you, I want a ceasefire.
[146] With guarantees.
[147] Because you'll get a ceasefire faster than an agreement.
[148] Ask our people about ceasefire, what they think.
[149] When the press conference ends, I don't even know what to say about that.
[150] That literally happened.
[151] That literally happened, ladies and gentlemen.

[153] It felt like a schoolyard bully's ganging up on someone.
[154] I mean, what is that?
[155] I don't know.
[156] And what it all sparked when he said something negative about Putin, then all of a sudden Trump and J .D. Vance, you don't say it.
[157] You can't say anything negative about Putin.
[158] No, not under the Trump administration, not for many conservatives, for sadly, for many Christians now are on the side of Russia, now on the side of Putin.
[159] I will never understand what happened.
[160] I don't get it.
[161] That was the most insane thing that has.
[162] I can't even believe what happened.
[163] We're going to walk through all of this.
[164] I'm going to let them just say a couple of things here.
[165] But what happened immediately after this press conference, this thing was insane.
[166] Zelensky was there to sign this mineral agreement that that, you know, that America was going to have some mineral rights then and to try to break and then offer possibly some type of security.
[167] I'm oversimplifying so that maybe we could bring this to an end.
[168] But the thing is, is is Trump has basically he won't call out Putin for invading Ukraine.
[169] He won't call out Russia.
[170] He will not.
[171] He will.
[172] He just is he's so supportive of Russia and Putin.
[173] It I don't get it.
[174] I remember.
[175] Don't you remember?
[176] I have no words for what is happening, but let's listen to what they say happened after.
[177] And then I'm going to walk through everything.
[178] I'm going to walk kind of a description.
[179] I'm going to walk through a summary of events.
[180] I'm going to walk through an outline of what occurred.
[181] And then I'm going to try to look at this from a biblical and theological perspective.
[182] And then I'm going to try my very, very, very best to explain what has occurred within Christianity.
[183] And with an American conservatism that now supports Russia because something has dramatically changed.
[184] I've been watching this for over a year, for years now.
[185] I don't know.
[186] I think it was maybe two years ago.
[187] I was reviewing a sermon.
[188] from a Calvary Chapel church, from someone very, very, very popular within the Calvary Chapel movement.
[189] And within that sermon, they started mocking and attacking Zelensky and those in Ukraine in the middle of a sermon.
[190] And I was like, that's it, I'm done.
[191] And it's the first time and the only time I've ever stopped a sermon review.
[192] And I said, I will never listen to that man again.
[193] I can't believe from a pulpit, you're literally mocking someone whose country has been invaded and the people are dying.
[194] And remember the clapping that people literally applauded like in a church?
[195] Like, I don't I don't I don't I don't get what's happening.
[196] So here's they're going to briefly describe what happened after.
[197] Ended.
[198] Zelensky left the White House.
[199] The planned press conference was canceled and it would appear that the minerals deal is now off.
[200] President Trump then posted the following on social media.
[201] We had a very meaningful meeting in the White House today.
[202] Much was learned that could never be understood without conversation under such fire and pressure.
[203] It's amazing what comes out through emotion.
[204] And I have determined that President Zelensky is not ready for peace if America is involved because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations.
[205] I don't want advantage.
[206] I want peace.
[207] Now, they go on for another 15, 16, 20 minutes.
[208] And you can go listen to that.
[209] I don't even have words for that.
[210] Everyone's talking about it.
[211] So what I'm going to do is walk through it based on the outline I gave you.
[212] I'm going to give you a kind of a summary.
[213] I'm going to kind of give you an introduction.
[214] I'm going to give you a summary.
[215] I'm going to give you an outline of what happened.
[216] I'm going to look at it from a biblical and theological perspective, and I'm going to try to break down what happened, why this shift has occurred that, you know, if you're a Republican, well, MAGA, I'm going to say if you're MAGA and you're all pro -Trump, you tend to be pro -Russia.
[217] I don't get this.
[218] I don't.
[219] understand this.
[220] And many Christians have followed this.
[221] What has occurred?
[222] I'm going to try to break this down.
[223] So let's go through this.
[224] All right.
[225] I'm going to do my very best to go through this rapidly.
[226] I am so, to me, if you're asking me my opinion, Zalinski felt like he was set up.
[227] He was called in to supposedly do this, you know, press conference, sign this deal and all of this.
[228] But then he gets in there and boom, he gets immediately just...
[229] Because he dared call out Putin for breaking agreements and for doing this and for doing.
[230] No, no, no. You see, Zelensky, shut up in color.
[231] You can't say anything bad about Putin because the Trump administration is pro -Russia.
[232] I don't I don't I don't get it.
[233] All right.
[234] But here we go.
[235] And a dramatic, I'm borrowing from news articles, I'm borrowing from a number of sources here.
[236] I've got 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.
[237] I've got like probably 12, 13 different sources, taking paragraphs from different sources, then put together all by artificial intelligence to try to help outline and bring this all together.
[238] Here we go.
[239] And a dramatic.
[240] An unexpected turn of events, a high -stakes meeting at the White House between U .S. President Donald Trump, Vice President J .D. Vez, and Ukrainian President Zelensky erupted into a heated confrontation.
[241] The meeting, intended to discuss U .S. support for Ukraine and its ongoing conflict with Russia, and to finalize a significant minerals deal, concluded abruptly without any agreements.
[242] The summary of events kind of go like this.
[243] Accusation of disrespect.
[244] President Trump accused President Zelensky of disrespecting the United States and suggesting that Zelensky was gambling with World War III by not aligning with U .S. expectations.
[245] Vice President Vance echoed these sentiments, criticizing Zelensky for a perceived lack of gratitude for U .S. support.
[246] Also, there was someone in the press conference who criticized Zelensky for not wearing a suit.
[247] But we won't even.
[248] get into that childishness, all right?
[249] Abrupt, abrupt conclusion.
[250] The escalating tensions led President Trump to cut the meeting short, stating that Zelensky could return when he is ready for peace.
[251] This decision also resulted in the cancellation of planned joint press conference and the signing of a minerals deal that was anticipated to bolster Ukraine's economy.
[252] European allies' reaction.
[253] So, I...
[254] The peace deal is off the table, I guess.
[255] I remember President Trump said he was going to he could solve this entire war in the first day when he was elected within like 24 hours.
[256] Well, he didn't do that.
[257] He didn't do anything.
[258] I'm just going to get frustrated, get mad.
[259] But this now leaves the Ukrainian people in Ukraine.
[260] I don't know.
[261] I guess now Russia can just go in and kill everyone.
[262] I guess, hey, you know, remember Trump already referred to Zelensky as the dictator, not Putin, but Zelensky.
[263] Don't even get me started on all of that.
[264] OK, but here's kind of an outline, right?
[265] So a high profile.
[266] So basically, if you need to understand this, a high profile meeting at the White House involving U .S. and Ukrainian leadership.
[267] All right.
[268] The key issues that were to be discussed, U .S. security guarantees for Ukraine and a proposed U .S.-Ukraine minerals deal.
[269] All right.
[270] Here's the details.
[271] President Trump's accusation towards President Zelensky.
[272] He makes these accusations.
[273] Vice President Vance remarks on perceived ingratitude and President Zelensky's defense and emphasis on Ukraine's need for reliable peace.
[274] I think what Zelensky was trying to say is.
[275] Look, we've got to have something reliable, not just supposedly Putin saying, well, I won't do this or I won't do that because he's broken those previous agreements in the past.
[276] That's what Zelensky was trying to say.
[277] We can't trust Putin.
[278] We need something.
[279] But of course, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. We can't say anything bad about Putin.
[280] Right.
[281] So there was an immediate, the immediate outcome was an abrupt termination of the meeting, cancellation of the joint press conference and Minerals deal signing.
[282] All right.
[283] International reaction.
[284] European leaders reaffirm their support for Ukraine.
[285] And there is concern over U .S. commitment and potential isolation of European allies.
[286] In other words, they could be isolated and be possibly in danger of Russia.
[287] aggression, maybe Russia trying to take over even more territory, I think that's a reasonable concern.
[288] Now, if we just look at this purely from just a biblical theological perspective, from a biblical standpoint, all right, this incident can be examined through the lens of leadership, humility, and the pursuit of peace, all right?
[289] So if we look at it from a biblical perspective, And this is just like I'm reacting in real time here.
[290] So you've got to give me time to process this and think this even further through.
[291] OK, but I think we can look at it through that lens.
[292] Leadership, humility and the pursuit of peace.
[293] So let's start with pride and humility.
[294] The Bible warns against pride and emphasizes the importance of humility.
[295] Proverbs 16, 18 states, Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.
[296] Leaders are called to exercise humility, recognizing their role as servants to others.
[297] This is not about you show up here and you do this and you do this and you do this.
[298] It should be, hey, guys, let's humbly work together for the good of, I don't know, all the people in Ukraine not being slaughtered.
[299] set aside our egos to try to work together to stop this.
[300] But the problem is, it seems that one part of the people in that room, everyone who was a part of the Trump administration, is more, they don't want to offend Putin.
[301] They don't want to make Russia mad.
[302] They want to stay on Russia's good side.
[303] And they don't seem to be that willing or concerned for the...
[304] Ukrainians.
[305] And so then if Zelensky, they immediately started attacking.
[306] You haven't said thank you enough.
[307] And then what was that whole nonsense?
[308] Oh, you said nice things about Biden and you went to a campaign rally for Biden.
[309] Well, why wouldn't someone who's fighting for the survival of his country not try to do everything they can to support the administration that was in power who had been doing things to support them to try to keep his people from dying?
[310] But you're going to now hold that against him?
[311] I mean, what kind of pride and arrogance is that?
[312] Gratitude and ingratitude.
[313] Scripture encourages a spirit of thanksgiving.
[314] The first Thessalonians 5 .18 says to give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
[315] The confrontation over perceived ingratitude highlights the human tendency to seek acknowledgement, yet true service should be rendered selflessly.
[316] See, this is like, but I don't think it was about acknowledgement.
[317] I think they were like, you haven't even said thank you.
[318] You haven't even said thank you.
[319] Well, first of all, they haven't agreed to anything.
[320] They haven't even signed anything.
[321] They haven't even gotten to the point there.
[322] Maybe after he signed it, then he would have said thank you.
[323] But Zelensky has said thank you a million times, a lot of different places.
[324] We could probably go find all the audio of all the times he has.
[325] But here's the thing.
[326] Are you going to be sitting there and you didn't even say anything about saying thank you until he said those negative things about Putin?
[327] Then you got upset.
[328] But are you, is it going to be some little like children?
[329] You didn't say thank you enough.
[330] You didn't say thank you enough.
[331] What kind of childishness is this?
[332] Is this the leadership the American people voted for was for people who act like schoolyard bullies who get upset because someone didn't say thank you enough to them?
[333] Was Zelensky supposed to walk into the room, fall on the floor and grovel at their feet and kiss the ring?
[334] Peacemaking.
[335] Jesus taught, blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called children of God.
[336] The abrupt end to peace discussion serves as a reminder of the challenges in peacemaking and the necessity for perseverance, patience, and empathy in resolving conflicts.
[337] Now, the thing is, were they upset because, oh, we were offended?
[338] Well, let's worry about stopping a war.
[339] What's more important?
[340] We were offended because you get out.
[341] We're not going to have anything to do with you.
[342] OK, well, then I guess you can do that.
[343] Or I don't know.
[344] You said you were going to bring this to an end in one day.
[345] It's been more than one day.
[346] Come on.
[347] Show us your great ability to bring it to an end.
[348] In conclusion, this event, and I got more here I could go through, serves as a point, a powerful reminder of the complexities inherent in international relations and the biblical call for leaders to embody humility, gratitude, and you would hope a steadfast commitment to peace.

[350] So we could probably break it down a little bit more.
[351] And I am more than willing to acknowledge this.
[352] Because I'm going to get all the Putin supporters and all the Russian supporters and all those who hate Zelensky.
[353] They're going to start filling my email box.
[354] Go ahead, all you MAGA supporters.
[355] Support Russia all you want.
[356] I'm more than willing.
[357] Is Zelensky perfect?
[358] No. Is Ukraine perfect?
[359] No. I don't know.
[360] This is a shocker.
[361] Is Trump perfect?
[362] No. Is United States of America perfect?
[363] No. Has Ukraine done things in their past that's probably wrong?
[364] Yes.
[365] Has America done a list of things wrong in the past?
[366] Yes.
[367] The issue is who invaded whom?
[368] Russia invaded Ukraine.
[369] And typically, for the most part, we have understood Russia to be an existential threat to the United States of America.
[370] But something changed.
[371] Something changed.
[372] What changed?
[373] Well, this I needed AI to help me structure this.
[374] There has been a shift among conservative politicians and many Christians towards supporting Russia, and Vladimir Putin.
[375] And this can only be attributed to maybe a combination of political, ideological, and cultural factors.
[376] It can only be attributed to basically those three things.
[377] Political, political.
[378] ideological, and cultural.
[379] I'll go with that.
[380] I'll break it down that way.
[381] Political, ideological, and cultural.
[382] Now, you may have seen this among your Christian friends, Christian family members, who all of a sudden seem to be like pro -Russia, pro -Russia, pro -Pu.
[383] Down with Zelensky.
[384] Let's go, Russia.
[385] We're in team Russia.
[386] Remember when it was like, you know, don't you remember the Rocky movie?
[387] Okay.
[388] The Russians versus America, right?
[389] Don't you remember that?
[390] Don't you remember?
[391] I mean, I don't know.
[392] Some of you are too young.
[393] Maybe this is the younger generation.
[394] I don't know what is happening here.
[395] Okay.
[396] But, There's been a shift.
[397] It's political, it's ideological.
[398] Let's look at the cultural and social conservatism.
[399] Many conservatives and some Christians perceive Russia as a defender of traditional values, particularly in opposition to what they see the increasing secularization and liberalization of the West.
[400] So what some Christians like, oh, what we are enemy.
[401] is secularism.
[402] Our enemy is liberalism.
[403] See, Christians stopped fighting a spiritual war a long time ago.
[404] Oh, they still like to describe it as a spiritual war?
[405] No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. What they want is conservative.
[406] We want to get rid of liberalism.
[407] We want conservatism.
[408] They replaced The gospel, they replace Christianity with conservatism.
[409] They try to disguise it as Christian conservatism, but it's a political conservatism.
[410] It's not a spiritual conservatism.
[411] So they see Russia, Russia hates secularism.
[412] Russia hates being woke.
[413] Russia hates liberal.
[414] Oh, so we're going to support Russia.
[415] What in the world is going on here, right?
[416] Putin.
[417] has positioned himself as a proponent of Christian orthodoxy.
[418] That's how he's at least positioned himself.
[419] And I guess that's all you have to do.
[420] Trump did the same thing.
[421] See, there's many Christians, if the leader just gives some kind of lip service, just pretends some allegiance to Christianity, Christians are like, there's our team.
[422] There's our guy.
[423] We don't care.
[424] We don't care if it even truly even is Christianity.
[425] They say they're on our side.
[426] We don't care that we will sell our soul for anyone who we think is a political ally.
[427] So Putin has positioned himself as a proponent of Christian orthodoxy, traditional family values and opposition to progressive social movements, because there's nothing that's more traditional family value than invading another country and killing people to take their land.
[428] But OK, that's, you know, what do I know?
[429] Opposition to progressive social movements such as LGBTQ rights, which resonate with certain conservative groups like, hey, he hates LGBTQ like we do.
[430] All right.
[431] We're pro -Russia because they hate LGBTQ.
[432] Well, that's the way we do things now in Christianity.
[433] Because our issue shouldn't be LGBTQ.
[434] It should not be it.
[435] Our issue should be there is sin and the gospel calls people to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ and they're saved by an imputed righteousness.
[436] It should be that, right?
[437] But no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Let's side with the O. Look at them.
[438] Well, at that point, I guess we join the Muslims because most Muslim countries are against LGBTQ, right?
[439] So let's join the Muslims as well, right?
[440] In fact, let's just forgo Christianity and let's just have a conservative utopia where we have conservative values.
[441] And I guess many Christians will be happy.
[442] They don't really care about Christ, him crucified, and the gospel.
[443] They just care about conservativism.
[444] Oh, I hate wokeism.
[445] You hear it in sermons all the time.
[446] This woke stuff, this woke stuff, this woke stuff, this transgender stuff, this LGBTQ.
[447] stuff.
[448] And that's all they ever want to argue about.
[449] No. How about, I don't know.
[450] I don't care if they're woke.
[451] I don't care if they're LGBTQ.
[452] I don't care if they're transgender.
[453] They're human beings created in the image of God.
[454] They have a sinful nature.
[455] And whether it's that sin or it's all the sins of a heterosexual white male, it doesn't matter who they are.
[456] It's still sin and they still need the same gospel.
[457] How about we worry about the gospel and discipleship and not this political nonsense where we get into these culture wars, fighting political battles, and we do so in the of Jesus Christ.
[458] And then where we so connect Christ to these political battles, the church becomes a political institution instead of a spiritual institution.
[459] And at that point, shut the doors down.
[460] Everyone goes home and nobody go back to church because it's a joke.
[461] Yeah, I'm being calm.
[462] So this cultural and social conservatism trumps, no pun intended, Well, true biblical Christianity.
[463] Then there was this distrust of globalism and Western institutions.
[464] Some of the right view global institutions such as the United Nations, European Union, and NATO as overreaching entities that undermine national sovereignty.
[465] And you'll have Christian, I mean, this goes all the way back to the 90s when I was listening to the Prophecy Club.
[466] which was a crazy conspiratorial Christian program.
[467] And it was like the United Nations, NATO, it's this and it's this, and they're going to take away our rights and we're all going to be marked with the beast.
[468] And then this is the way Antichrist is going to come to the power.
[469] We're going to receive the mark of the beast, if I can speak correctly.
[470] And so Christians were already kind of being shaped to have this distrust for those institutions.
[471] Well, guess what?
[472] Russia opposes those institutions.
[473] Russia aligns with a broader conservative skepticism towards globalist policies, which they see as eroding national identity and self -determination.
[474] Well, Russia's against those institutions.
[475] We're against those institutions.
[476] Hey, we're on Russia's side.
[477] Wait, Russia hates liberalism and wokeism and hates.

[490] We just try to make them the bad guys, but they're really the good guys.
[491] The narrative that the deep state.
[492] The narrative that the deep state opposes Russia fuels skepticism, leading some to sympathize with Russia as a counterbalance.
[493] So the deep state, they try to make Russia look bad, right?
[494] So the deep state hates Russia, but the deep state is bad.
[495] So we can't be and we can't say Russia is bad because that would put us in line with the deep state, whatever the deep state is.
[496] And so we have to be on Russia's side.
[497] Now, these are people who get into the weeds of politics and conspiracy theories.
[498] And again, they've abandoned anything that even remotely looks like Christianity.
[499] Number four, another reason this shift has occurred, Putin's anti -woke and anti -liberal stance.
[500] Russia has consistently criticized the West for its embrace of progressive ideologies related to gender, race and identity politics.
[501] Many conservatives see this as a refreshing contrast to what they perceive as a Western decadence, ideological censorship and cultural decline.

[503] Putin hates these kinds of things.
[504] We hate these kinds of things.
[505] We'll be on Putin's side.
[506] Who cares if he kills his opponents, kills journalists?
[507] Who cares?
[508] Who cares anything?

[511] And a fifth reason this shift has taken place.
[512] Media influence and conservative figures.
[513] Certain influential media personalities and politicians such as Tucker Carlson have amplified narratives that frame Russia.
[514] Favorably, Fox News, many other conservative media.
[515] These figures often highlight perceived corruption and moral decay in the U .S. government while contrasting it with Russia's supposedly stronger, nationalistic, are you ready for this?
[516] Christian values.
[517] Russia has Christian values.
[518] America is decadent.
[519] We need to support Russia.
[520] I guess if we support Russia so much, maybe we just invite them to take over our entire country and then we can sing the Russian national anthem and we can have the Russian flag flying over the White House.
[521] Will that make all of you Christians happy?
[522] A sixth reason this shift has taken place, Ukraine war skepticism.
[523] Some conservative question the level of U .S. financial and military aid to Ukraine, arguing that it diverts resources from domestic issues.
[524] Now, I got no problem.
[525] How much money should we give to the Ukrainian government to try to fight this war?
[526] How much is it worth?
[527] How much is it worth?
[528] If we spend billions or trillions, what is it worth?
[529] What do we get from it?
[530] I can understand that.
[531] Well, that's you can have that as a reasonable and rational discussion.
[532] Some may say, well, I think it stops.
[533] It forces Russia not to go any further.
[534] They're stopped.
[535] They can't take over because if they take over Ukraine, it can make other countries vulnerable, which could only lead to greater conflict.
[536] So either we spend the money now or we spend the money later.
[537] Let's spend the money now and not let Russia advance.
[538] You could you can make arguments both ways.
[539] You can you can make I got no problem understanding it.

[560] The argument that Ukraine's government is not a perfect democracy and has had issues with corruption has been used to justify skepticism.

[565] From a biblical and theological standpoint, this shift presents several concerns.

[581] So we're going to join Russia.

[584] Let's support Russia.
[585] The deep state is against Russia.
[586] So we're for Russia.

[591] Number five, media influence and conservative figures continue to give you Russian talking points and you buy into it.

[595] Those are the six reasons this shift has occurred.
[596] Now, if we look at it from a biblical and theological perspective, selective morality and politics aligning with Russia purely based on cultural conservatism.
[597] can overlook serious moral and ethical issues, including political oppression, human rights violations, and aggressive warfare.
[598] For example, Russia's actions in Ukraine.
[599] Scripture warns against compromising righteousness for political expediency.
[600] We should not compromise righteousness for political expediency, right?

[639] Christians should seek truth, test all claims and avoid being swayed by political rhetoric.

[644] And Christians view Russia's stance on social issues favorably.
