[0] I'm Daily Wire Editor -in -Chief John Bickley with Georgia Howe.

[1] It's Thursday, November 9th, and this is your Morning Wire afternoon update.

[2] After the White House announced, Israel will implement daily four -hour humanitarian pauses in its attack against Hamas.

[3] The Jewish nation refuted the claim.

[4] Following the White House's announcement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office issued a statement saying, quote, The fighting continues and there will be no ceasefire without the release of our hostages.

[5] This comes as the Biden administration has been pressuring Israel to implement the pauses, in some cases, asking for pauses much longer than a few hours.

[6] President Biden said today that he asked for a much longer pause.

[7] Here's what he said when asked about Prime Minister Netanyahu.

[8] Mr. President, are you frustrated with Prime Minister Netanyahu that he has not listened more to some of the things you have asked him to do?

[9] It takes a little longer than I hope.

[10] A screening in Los Angeles last night of footage of the atrocities.

[11] committed by Hamas terrorists on October 7th, sparked street brawls between pro -Palestinian and pro -Israel demonstrators.

[12] The screening was put on by Israeli actress Gal Gadot.

[13] Video across social media shows people waving flags and punching and kicking each other in the streets.

[14] Here's a bit from the chaos.

[15] Several people were seen.

[16] being detained late Wednesday, but it was not immediately clear if anybody was arrested or will face charges.

[17] Good Ode screening had fielded a lot of controversy and social media threats early on.

[18] Pro -Palestinian supporters accused the actress of supporting quote -unquote genocide by showing the footage of the Hamas attacks while backers of the Jewish nation defended her.

[19] The Pentagon has confirmed four new attacks on Iraq and Syria -based U .S. forces.

[20] This follows a U .S. airstrike on a weapons storage facility in eastern Syria.

[21] used by Iranian -backed groups.

[22] Here's Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

[23] We're not looking for conflict with Iran.

[24] We've made that very clear, but we'll do what's necessary to protect our personnel, be they military or civilian.

[25] The depot was known to be used by Iran's Revolutionary Guard.

[26] Officials say the strike triggered secondary explosions, likely from weaponry inside.

[27] The U .S. believes that no civilians were killed and any people in or around the warehouse were tied to the Revolutionary.

[28] Guard or Iran -backed militia groups.

[29] West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin announced via social media today that he will not be seeking re -election to the Senate in 2024.

[30] While this announcement gives Republicans an opportunity to pick up a seat, it also comes as rumors have swirled about Mansions seeking a third -party run for the White House.

[31] Police in Nashville say they've placed seven employees on administrative leave just days after writings reportedly from the Covenant School shooter were released online.

[32] Daily Wire reporter Zach Jewell has more.

[33] The Metro Nashville Police Department says they're continuing their investigation into how these writings got out and who released them.

[34] A department spokesperson says the employees were placed on leave to protect the integrity of the investigation.

[35] The spokesperson also says the decision to put the employees on leave was, quote, absolutely non -punitive.

[36] On Monday, three images purported to be the writings of the Covenant School shooter were posted online by conservative podcast host Stephen Crowder.

[37] Today is the first day in over six months that neither Hollywood actors nor writers will be on strike.

[38] The tentative contract reached late last night will still need to be approved by the board of SAGAFTRA and its members in the coming days.

[39] But union leadership said the strike came to an end at 12 .01 a .m. this morning, putting a majority of the industry back into production.

[40] Duncan Crabtree Ireland, SAGAFTRA's executive director and chief negotiator, said the gains made in the deal justified the strike.

[41] This is the first time that we've ever had a deal that was valued at over a billion dollars in gains during the term of the contract, and that really means a lot.

[42] Donald Trump will appear on the Minnesota primary ballot.

[43] This comes after the state Supreme Court dismissed a lawsuit seeking to end the former president's candidacy on Wednesday.

[44] Daily Wire reporter Tim Pierce has more.

[45] The suit sought to use Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to keep someone who engaged in insurrection from holding office.

[46] The ruling says that state law allows parties to put whomever they want on the primary ballot.

[47] The court did, however, leave open the possibility that plaintiffs could try again to knock Trump off the general election ballot in November.

[48] The Minnesota challenge was filed by the liberal group Free Speech for People, which has said it will continue its campaign to end Trump's presidential bid.

[49] All right, those are your drive home updates this afternoon.
