During Saturday’s Xfinity Series race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, non-competitive pit stops threw a wrench into strategy. A.J. Allmendinger was assessed a penalty for a pit stop that was too fast. Hear how that is possible and the confusing rules in place for the standalone Xfinity Series race.

After charging back through the field, a late restart opened a window for Allmendinger to take the leaders three-wide to capture the lead.
