[5] Vice President Kamala Harris spoke about President Joe Biden today in her first appearance since the commander -in -chief dropped out of the race.

[6] And I wanted to say a few words about our president.

[7] Joe Biden's legacy of accomplishment over the past three years is unmatched in modern history.

[8] In one term, he has already, yes, you may laugh.

[9] Her remarks come after a large overnight fundraising hall and endorsements from several prominent Democrats.

[10] Here with the details is Daily Wire Senior Editor Cabot Phillips.

[11] Just a day after President Biden dropped out of the 2024 presidential race, Kamala Harris has raised $50 million in received a flurry of big -name endorsements, including former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, California Governor Gavin Newsom, and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

[12] However, several other notable Democrats, like former President Barack Obama, top Senate and House Democrats, Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries, have not formally endorsed her.

[13] Meanwhile, many Republicans, including House Speaker Mike Johnson, are calling for Biden to resign, saying if he cannot run, he cannot serve.

[14] Some, like Colorado Congresswoman Lauren Bobert, have gone as far as demanding proof of life from the president.

[15] Bovertook the ex saying, quote, he needs to get in front of some camera and discuss if he's aware that he's dropped out.

[16] Hiding is completely unacceptable.

[17] Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheedell faced tough questioning today in the House regarding the security failures that led up to the attempt on former President Trump's life.

[18] Her testimony was underscored by constant deflections, often refusing to give specifics and noting that she did not have certain resources.

[19] What they asked for and how many times did you turn them down.

[20] Pretty basic questions.

[21] So again, without having all of the details in front of me, sir, what I can tell you is that there are times...

[22] You didn't get briefed on how many times you turned down the Trump detail when they asked for additional help?

[23] I'm sorry.

[24] You didn't get briefed on that before you came to this hearing knowing you were going to get asked that question?

[25] What I can tell you is it in generic terms.

[26] During the hearing, she testified that the roof where the shooter fired from was identified as a potential vulnerability days before the rally and that the Secret Service was told about a suspicious person between two and five times before the shooting.

[27] Republicans and Democrats were united in their criticism of Director Cheedle, with many committee members calling for her to resign.

[28] During one heated exchange, Nancy Mace grilled Cheatel over evidence not provided to the committee.

[29] Has the Secret Service provided this committee a complete list of all law enforcement personnel that were there that day?

[30] Yes or no. I'll have to get back to you on that.

[31] That is a no. Have you provided all audio and video recordings in your possession to this committee?

[32] as we asked on July 15th, yes or no. I would have to get back to you.

[33] That is a no. You're full of shit today.

[34] You're just being completely dishonest.

[35] Mr. Chairman, we have to maintain decorum in this committee.

[43] I plan to see President Biden, whom I've known for over 40 years, this will be an opportunity to thank him for the things he did for Israel in the war.

[44] And during his long and distinguished career in public service, as Senator and Vice President and his President.

[45] It will also be an opportunity to discuss with him how to advance in the critical months ahead the goals that are important for both our countries.

[46] The Prime Minister said he wants to maintain Israel's alliance with the U .S., regardless of who the American people choose as their next president.

[47] He will address Congress this Wednesday with a focus on bipartisanship.

[48] Israel's leader will have to convince lawmakers that the country has a path to end the war with Hamas and quell concerns over its growing conflict with Yemen.

[52] Daily Wire Deputy Managing editor Tim Rice has the latest.

[53] Members of the migrant caravan, approaching from Mexico's southern border, reportedly aimed to reached the U .S. border before a potential Trump presidency.

[54] Some voiced concerns that Trump would end the program where asylum seekers are able to reside in the United States while their cases are pending.

[55] The Biden administration, including Vice President Harris, have faced heavy criticism for weak border policies, which have led in a record number of illegal immigrants.

[56] And Karen Reid is back in court today for the first time since her first two -month murder trial ended in a mistrial.

[57] Reid is accused of killing her Boston police officer boyfriend John O 'Keefe in February of 2022.

[58] However, her defense argued that Reed was framed as part of a cover -up by a group of individuals, including members of Boston law enforcement.
