The Cincinnati Reds earned a split with the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. Jeff and Steve are joined by Lauren and Jake from Locked On Red Sox to look at their big takes from the two game set, surprises for the Reds and Red Sox, and how things look for both teams going forward. Luis Castillo shut down the Red Sox red hot lineup in game one before the Sox bats woke up in game two. Meanwhile, Joey Votto looks like he has regained his power stroke, despite being robbed of two homers in game one. The Reds bullpen, led by Alexis Diaz and Hunter Strickland looked solid (except for Jeff Hoffman's one inning) even if Hunter Greene showed the Jekyll and Hyde-type performance that has perpetuated his rookie season. Also, will the Red Sox regain their footing in a tough AL East? Will the Reds continue to give playing time to players who will shape their future?
