[6] Israel says it will invade the Gaza city of Rafa by the beginning of Ramadan if Hamas does not release the rest of the hostages taken during the October 7th attack.
[7] Daily Wire reporter Tim Pierce has the latest.
[8] Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to finish the job after ceasefire talks between Israeli and Hamas officials stalled.
[9] Netanyahu says a hostage release can be achieved through a strong military action and tough negotiations.
[10] This comes as the International Court of Justice has begun hearings on Israel's supposed quote, occupation of land sought for a Palestinian state.
[11] several countries will be involved in the hearings in the case.
[12] Lawyers arguing for a Palestinian state claim that Israel has acted illegally.
[13] What makes Israel's ongoing occupation of the Palestinian territory unlawful is precisely its permanent character.
[14] Netanyahu's office rejected the court's discussion.
[15] It said the Hague court is, quote, part of the Palestinian attempt to dictate the results of the political settlement without negotiations.
[16] The prime minister's office says Israel will continue.
[17] to fight this attempt and reject this wrong trend.
[18] Houthi rebels have claimed responsibility for an attack that damaged a ship flying the Belize flag early this morning.
[19] No crew members were injured in the attack, but the vessel did sustain some damage after what officials say was a close proximity explosion.
[20] Officials described the ship as a cargo ship, though it wasn't exactly clear what it was carrying.
[21] The ship was traveling through the Bob Elmandeb straight when it was targeted.
[22] The attack comes after U .S. military forces acknowledged a handful of new airstrikes they had conducted against the Iran -backed rebel group, including one that targeted the first Houthi underwater drone.
[23] Leaders from around the world, including a record number of U .S. lawmakers, gathered in Munich this week for the Munich Security Conference.

[25] While several overseas conflicts continue to escalate, Russia's war in Ukraine dominated the conversation.
[26] Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskyy urged Western leaders to continue their support of his country, setting the tone for the majority of the conference.
[27] Vice President Kamala Harris said, quote, justice must be served while accusing Russia of carrying out crimes against humanity.

[29] Make no mistake, Putin's war has already been an utter failure for Russia.
[30] Ukraine has regained more than half the territory Russia occupied at the start of the conflict.
[31] Thanks in part to a massive supply of American and European weapons, because of Putin's aggression and recklessness, Russia has also suffered over 300 ,000 casualties.
[32] Other world leaders in attendance also voiced concern over the ongoing conflict.
[33] China's top diplomat Wang Yi echoed calls for peace in the Russia -Ukraine war while saying that, quote, some forces do not want the war to end due to, quote, bigger strategic goals in Ukraine.
[34] While you did not elaborate further, that sentiment aligns with similar messaging from Russia, claiming that NATO does not want peace talks there.

[39] Alexi Navalny's widow has said she will continue her husband's work to quote, free Russia and resist Putin.
[40] Yulia Navalnia met with European leaders in Brussels today, just hours after she released a video message directly accusing Putin of killing her husband.
[41] She urged listeners to share in the rage with me, rage, anger, hatred towards those who dared to kill our future.
[42] Many Russians laid flowers at the wall of grief in Moscow.
[43] It is one of the only places where signs of protest are allowed.
[44] According to a Russian human rights activist, more than 400 people who showed up to Navalny memorials have been detained.
[45] Russian authorities claim Navalny was trying to destabilize Russia and overthrow the government.
[46] In less than a month, Russia will hold its next presidential election and Putin is expected to win it handily, giving him another six years as president.
[47] One person has died and five others injured after a shooting at an Indianapolis Waffle House early this morning.
[48] Police say upon arrival they found five people with apparent gunshot wounds, including a woman whose injury they described as critical.
[49] All of the victims were taken to the hospital.
[50] Police say they were later notified of a sixth gunshot victim in critical condition, a man who either took himself to a hospital or was helped by someone else.
[51] Police say they're currently investigating.
[52] So far, the only thing that we have is that there was two groups of subjects here that got into some type of disturbance or a fight at the Waffle House.
[53] A group of truckers are boycotting deliveries to New York City in response to the $355 million fine levied against former President Donald Trump.
[54] The calls for a boycott gained traction after a trucker known as Chicago Ray put out a viral video on social media declaring that many truckers are halting deliveries as soon as today.
[55] I've been on the radio talking to drivers for about the last hour, hour of 15 minutes.
[56] I'm talking about at least 10 drivers going the other way.
[57] I'm heading down from South Wisconsin.
[58] They're going to start refusing a load to New York City.
[59] starting on Monday.
[60] Our bosses ain't going to care if we did I unload.
[61] We'll just go somewhere else.
[62] Manhattan Judge Arthur Angeron ordered Trump to pay $355 million for allegedly inflating his net worth over a decade to secure favorable loans.
[63] Additionally, Trump is barred from doing business in New York for three years.
[64] Trump denounced the case as election interference and warned of further repercussions for New York City.
[65] And California is again bracing for flooding as another wet winter storm picked up speed early this morning.
[66] Forecasters are also warning of hail, windy conditions, and even a potential for tornadoes.
[67] The system is currently moving over the state and is expected to impact it for the next few days.
