[2] Former Hawaii Representative Tulsi Gabbard announced she is officially leaving the Democratic Party on Monday.
[3] Gabbard ran for president as a Democrat in 2020 and served as a Democratic Congresswoman from 2013 to 2021.
[4] I'm calling on my fellow common sense, independent -minded Democrats, to join me in leaving the Democratic Party.
[5] If you can no longer stomach the direction that the so -called woke Democratic Party ideologues are taking our country, and I invite you to join me. The national average of regular gas has risen to 392 a gallon.
[6] President Biden in recent weeks has blamed rising fuel costs on Russia and OPEC.
[7] Bank of America predicted this week that the U .S. economy will soon start losing 175 ,000 jobs a month as the Fed continues to hike interest rates in its effort to combat inflation.
[8] 47 current Democratic seats in the House of Representatives are considered toss -ups or potential Republican wins.

[10] It's expected that the GOP will retake control of the House.
[11] According to a new poll from Associated Press, 60 % of adults say they expect relations with adversaries like Russia and North Korea to get worse.
[12] That figure is up from 26 % for years ago.
[13] On Monday, a unified denial of service attack carried out by pro -Russia hackers, affected some large airport websites in the U .S. Flights were reportedly not impacted by the cyber attack.
[14] The assaults were arranged by a group that refers to itself as Kilnett.
[15] Russian assaults are continuing today in Ukraine after a series of attacks resulted in the deaths of at least 19 people and more than 100 wounded on Monday, according to CNN.
[16] Ukrainian President Zelensky has urged G7 leaders that common efforts to create an air shield for Ukraine need to be strengthened.
[17] And Israel and Lebanon came to a deal regarding maritime borders after months of discussions driven by the U .S. In a statement, Israel's prime minister said, this is a historic achievement that will strengthen Israel's security, inject billions into Israel's economy, and ensure the stability of our northern border.
