[15] Police broke up an anti -Israel encampment at UCLA this morning, arresting dozens of individuals.
[16] Daily Wire reporter Tim Pierce has the latest.
[17] This happened at around three this morning.
[18] Police broke through the lines of the encampment, clearing out boards, pallets, and metal barriers after using flashbangs.
[19] Here's what that sounded like.
[20] Protesters were previously told to leave by campus authorities after days of camping out to protest Israel's war with Hamas.
[21] Yesterday, authorities said that the encampment was unlawful, even as occupiers demanded that they be provided with food and other supplies.
[22] Videos posted online show police attempting to break through the lines of protesters, some of whom are wearing helmets and goggles.

[29] Police shot and killed a student at a Wisconsin middle school yesterday during their response to a reported person with a gun.

[33] What I can say is that it was a student, it was a minor, but as we continue to move forward with this process, we'll provide information as appropriate.
[34] I will also mention we'll be working in conjunction with the DA's office as information is gathered, and the details that we're able to release will be, based on conversations we have with that office.

[46] At one point, the protesters replaced it with a Palestinian flag, enraging students and inspiring members from the Pai Kappa Phi fraternity to step into action.
