[2] House Oversight Chairman James Comer says that the FBI has finally agreed to allow every committee member to see a document containing bribery allegations against President Biden and his family.
[3] This comes after weeks of the Bureau refusing to even admit that the record exists.
[4] It also follows a vote to hold FBI Director Christopher Ray in contempt of Congress.
[5] The unclassified record reportedly shows the conversations between a confidential human source and a foreign national who claimed to have bribed then Vice President Joe Biden.
[6] Not only are they admitting the document existed, they've allowed me to go in and look at a redacted version, and they're offering to let committee members go in and look at the document.

[12] While environmentalists are blaming the fires on climate change, others point to misguided environmental policies which have led to poor forest management.
[13] According to meteorologists, the smoke won't clear for a few more days.
[14] That's when the wind is forecast to switch directions and bring cleaner air into the U .S. over the weekend.
[15] Eight workers at a Mexican drug cartel's scam call center have been confirmed dead after reportedly attempting to quit their jobs.
[16] According to both U .S. and Mexican authorities, the eight young workers were reported missing last month after relatives said they had not returned home.
[17] Human remains were then found last week, discarded in plastic bags in the western state of Halisco.
[18] Authorities say they've now confirmed that the remains were those of the call center workers.
[19] A 31 -year -old Syrian refugee stabbed eight people, including multiple children and a baby at a playground on Thursday morning in Anisee, France.
[20] The attack took place at about 9 .45 a .m. local time at a playground near Anise's city center.
[21] Multiple victims sustained serious injuries, but no deaths have been reported.
[22] The suspect is in police custody.
[23] Anisey is a picturesque town and a popular tourist destination in the French Alps.
[24] China is reportedly in talks with Cuba to establish a base on the island in order to better spy on the United States.

[26] According to senior U .S. officials, China has been in direct conversations about setting up a spy base in Cuba, which would allow Beijing to collect sensitive data and intelligence on southeastern portions of America, home to many military facilities and major industries.
[27] In exchange for the new facility, China has reportedly agreed to pay the Cuban government billions of dollars.
[28] It's not yet known if construction has begun or where the base will be located.

[30] The Supreme Court issued a surprising 5 -4 ruling on a congressional redistricting case.
[31] The court ruled that Republican -led legislatures in Alabama and Louisiana will have to redraw district maps to increase black representation.
[32] Both Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Brett Kavanaugh joined with the court's, liberals in affirming the lower court ruling, which found a likely violation of the Voting Rights Act in an Alabama congressional map.
[33] The ruling stated that there was only one majority black seat in a state where more than one in four residents are black.
[34] The outcome was unexpected due to the court previously allowing the challenged map to be used for the 2022 elections.
[35] And Pat Robertson, a religious broadcaster who turned a tiny Virginia station into a global Christian broadcasting network, has died at the age of 93.
[36] Robertson's death Thursday was confirmed in an email by his broadcasting network.
[37] No cause was given.
[38] For more than half a century, Roberts was a familiar presence in American living rooms, known for his 700 Club television show.
