[1] It's Thursday, April 6th, and this is your Morning Wire afternoon update.

[2] Former Vice President Mike Pence will comply with a subpoena to testify about the events of January 6th.

[3] Daily Wire reporter Brandon Dre has more.

[4] A spokesman for Pence told Politico that he will not appeal the judge's ruling and will comply with a subpoena as required by law.

[5] Last month, a U .S. District Court ruled that Pence must comply with the grand jury subpoena issued by the investigation.

[7] Pence initially challenged the subpoena, citing constitutional protections relating to his role as president of the Senate.

[8] However, the judge's ruling still requires Pence to answer questions about any illegal acts by Trump.

[9] This week, Republican governors in Indiana and Idaho signed bans on sex change surgeries and puberty blockers for minors.

[10] Meanwhile, New Jersey Democrat Governor Phil Murphy signed an executive action that makes the Garden State a safe haven for such procedures.

[11] Activist Chloe Cole, who received these kinds of surgeries is a minor and now regrets it voiced through support of the bans.

[12] No kid is really equipped to make a decision like this, and it's something that should definitely be waited on.

[13] Also in Idaho, Republican Governor Brad Little signed a law banning individuals from traveling with a minor to another state for an abortion, or helping a minor obtain an abortion -inducing drug without permission from parents.

[14] Violating this law is punishable by up to five years in prison.

[15] Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the nephew, of the late President John F. Kennedy, filed to run for the presidency in 2024 on Wednesday as a Democrat.

[16] With this filing to the Federal Election Commission, the 69 -year -old Kennedy is seeking office as a Democrat.

[17] Kennedy is the son of Robert F. Kennedy, the former U .S. Attorney General and U .S. Senator assassinated in 1968 while running for president.

[18] RFK Jr. has earned a reputation as an environmental lawyer and a best -selling author, but in recent years has garnered attention for his stance against.

[19] vaccines.

[20] French activists stormed the Paris offices of financial giant Black Rock on Thursday amid ongoing protests against the nation's recent pension reforms.

[22] French citizens have been protesting for nearly two weeks after President Emmanuel Macron overrode a provision in the nation's constitution to advance a bill through parliament that raised the country's retirement age from 62 to 64.

[23] Labor unions and other entities have organized nationwide strikes and protests in response to the move, which came amid concerns about the state retirement funds looming insolvency.

[24] Demonstrators briefly entered the historic Lecintin Tourial building in central Paris and lit firecrackers as they chanted anti -government slogans.

[25] The aggressive protests over the last month have led to beliefs using tear gas in their attempts to mitigate more violent demonstrations.

[26] The town hall of Bordeaux was set a blaze at the outset of the protests last month.
