[2] Following this week's closed door testimony, Hunter Biden's former business partner, Devin Archer, sat down for an interview with Tucker Carlson.
[3] In the interview, Archer confirmed that then -Vice President Joe Biden knowingly called in to multiple meetings with Hunter's foreign business partners over the years.
[4] Here's some highlights from the discussion.
[5] Joe Biden, then the sitting vice president, knew that there were Hunter's business associates in the room.
[6] Yeah, I think I can definitively say at particular dinners or meetings, he knew there were business associates.
[7] I don't know if it was an orchestrated call in or not.
[8] It certainly was powerful, though, because, you know, if you're sitting with a foreign business person and you hear the vice president's voice, that's prize enough.
[9] You understand D .C., right?
[10] So the power to have that access in that conversation, and it's not in a scheduled conference call and that's a part of your family, that's like the pinnacle of power in D .C. The federal judge assigned to the latest case against former President Trump is now under scrutiny for potential bias.
[11] U .S. District Judge Tanya Chutkin has a history of issuing tougher than recommended punishments for those involved in the January 6th riot.

[13] U .S. District Judge Tanya Chutkin was nominated by former President Barack Obama and has ruled against former President Trump once before.
[14] In 2021, she refused to Trump's request to block the release of documents to the House January 6th Committee.
[15] As Georgia stated, she is known to give even harsher prison sentences in January 6 cases than the Justice Department recommended.
[16] Chitken has sentenced 38 people convicted of capital riot -related crimes, and according to the Associated Press, All 38 received prison terms, ranging from 10 days to over five years.
[17] Trump is set to make his first court appearance on Thursday.
[18] Fitch ratings downgraded the U .S. government's credit rating this week from AAA to AA plus.
[19] The credit rating agency cited the constant rise of debt at the federal, state, and local levels, and a, quote, steady deterioration in standards of governance over the past two decades.
[20] This is the second time in history that our nation's credit rating has been slashed.
[21] In 2011, the agency S &P stripped the U .S. of its prize AAA rating after a long battle over the government's borrowing limit.
[22] A gunman who entered a Pittsburgh synagogue and killed 11 people worshipping in 2018 will be sentenced to death for carrying out what many are calling the deadliest anti -Semitic attack in U .S. history.

[24] The shooter, who we will not name due to company policy, wrote extensively online expressing hatred.
[25] for Jewish people before planning and carrying out the 2018 shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue.
[26] The shooter also wounded two other worshippers and five responding police officers.
[27] The jury, who also convicted the shooter on 63 criminal counts, recommended Wednesday that he be put to death.
[28] A judge will formally impose the sentence later.
[29] GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramoswamy hosted a press conference in Nashville today, along with some prominent voices in the community, including Daily Wire host Candice Owens.
[30] The speakers demanded the release of the Covenant School Shooters' Manifesto and an increase in transparency from government officials.
[31] We can't fix the past, but we can prevent tragedies in the future.
[32] And the only way to do it is to learn from those mistakes of the past.

[45] According to Beijing officials, the province of Hubei was saturated with nearly 30 inches of rain between this past Saturday and today, leading to severe flooding.
