[1] It's Tuesday, March 21st, and this is your Morning Wire afternoon update.

[2] Former President Donald Trump will reportedly not be charged today by the Manhattan District Attorney.

[3] Here with more is Daily Wire managing editor Greg Wilson.

[4] The Stormy Daniels Hush Money case took a dramatic turn Monday when Robert Costello testified for two hours, burying the prosecution star witness and Trump's former fixer Michael Cohen.

[5] Costello, Cohen's former legal advisor, told the panel Cohen is a convicted liar and not trustworthy.

[6] The grand jury is expected to reconvene Wednesday to continue weighing whether or not to indict Trump, but it was not known if any more witnesses will testify.

[7] Trump denies any wrongdoing and his legal team is confident he will be acquitted if the case ever goes to trial.

[8] Russia says that one of its fighter jets intercepted two U .S. B -52 bombers over the Baltic Sea on Monday, a potential provocation that comes just days after Russian planes forced a U .S. drone into the Black Sea.

[10] According to the Russian Defense Ministry, a Russian SU35 was scrambled toward the U .S. planes, which were headed toward Russia, but it returned to its base when the B -52s turned away.

[11] The statement was accompanied by footage the ministry said was shot from the Russian planes' cockpit that appeared to show one of the two American jets.

[12] The incident came as Chinese President Xi Jinping was in Moscow for talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin aimed at ending the Russian Ukraine war.

[13] It also followed two Russian nuclear bombers flying over the sea of Japan for several hours, just as Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Koshita was visiting Ukraine.

[14] President Biden announced this week that he will be declassifying some intelligence related to the origins of the COVID -19 pandemic, just days after Congress unanimously passed legislation forcing the issue.

[16] Biden signed Republican Senator Josh Hawley's COVID -19.

[17] Origin Act of 2023 into law on Monday, saying that he shares Congress's goal of releasing, quote, as much information as possible about the origin of the virus.

[18] However, the president added that he may have portions of the intelligence redacted for the purpose of protecting U .S. national security.

[19] Hawley called the move a huge victory for transparency, adding that it's now time for accountability.

[20] It's unclear when the origins report will be released.

[21] The UN released its new IPCC climate summary report on Monday, which incorporates studies conducted over the last six years and sounds the alarm over climate change.

[22] The report details a rapidly closing window of opportunity for a, quote, sustainable future for all.

[23] The panel claims that by 2030, greenhouse gas emissions would need to be cut nearly in half to limit warming to 1 .5 degrees Celsius.

[24] That's a key goal of the Paris Climate Agreement.

[25] The National Association of Realtors announced today that year -over -year home prices have dropped for the first time in a decade.

[26] The median price of an American home was lower in February of 2023 than it was in February of 2022, according to the data.

[27] As prices dropped, housing sales increased from January into February, but they're still down year -over -year.

[28] And public school classes in Los Angeles were canceled last minute today due to a school worker union strike.

[29] union represents about 30 ,000 school custodians, cafeteria workers, bus drivers, and other school support staff.

[30] Even though this is a school worker strike rather than a teacher strike, LA's major teachers union, United Teachers Los Angeles, joined in.

[31] That forced the school district to abruptly cancel classes this morning.

[33] The only thing that will stop it is a 30 % plus $2 equity paid wage increase in order to to bring us back to the table.

[34] He adds that they're also demanding more work hours for part -time employees.
