[0] You're listening to Draft King's Network.

[1] And it's brought to you by our friends at Draft King.

[2] Stay tuned because you're going to hear all about Draft Kings throughout the show that just got finished.

[3] Draft Kings, the crown is yours.

[4] Izzy, you don't do this a lot with us.

[5] Kick us off.

[6] Not only do I not do this a lot, I've never done this, and I am trying to find the line on tomorrow's Marlins Braves game, and I cannot, but I'm taking the Braves, whatever that number is.

[7] I'm telling you, the Braves will be minus one and a half.

[8] Then we will take that.

[9] Against the spread.

[10] Tony, what do we got?

[11] Yankees played one into the extra innings last night.

[12] Philly's good team.

[13] The game's about to start in a little bit.

[14] I'm going to give the Yankees with Nestor Cortez on the bump.

[15] Minus one and a half.

[16] I'm going to take the Yankees here.

[17] See if they can get back.

[18] Against the spread.

[19] Tony, how much is your head spinning this week while having to edit and be part of the show?

[20] Yeah, it hasn't been.

[21] great.

[22] You have, I look at you now people watching a video.

[23] Tony has 14 set of headphones on.

[24] I have 14 set of headphones.

[25] I need to be sent out to somewhere to do a top five from somewhere, but then also nobody can edit the show so I can't leave and do that, so I got to stay here and do this.

[26] Jess, who do you got?

[27] Tomorrow, USA Women versus Belgium in basketball.

[28] Belgium is pretty good, but their star guard is hurt, and the spread is 22 and a half.

[29] I'm going to take the USA to cover that.

[30] Against the spread.

[31] We had to go higher on that one, Chris.

[32] What a game that is.

[33] What do you guys think of me trying to dress like Dan today?

[34] I know this is not for the post -game show audience necessarily.

[35] I couldn't tell if it was like a Jeremy or a Dan impression.

[36] Was it a legit thing that you did?

[37] Well, so I had got these clothes and as I was trying them on, whenever I was trying them on, it was definitely after the Dan, you know, change in wardrobes and stuff.

[38] You had him first.

[39] You're like, I did not follow Dan on this.

[40] Oh, no, no. I definitely looked at this and said this is a Dan outfit, but I'm wearing it.

[41] better.

[42] And so I got it.

[43] And I wasn't, I didn't have any plan on wearing it here, but there was about a 30 % chance that we would be wearing the exact same thing.

[44] And that, that excited me for about half an hour while I was in makeup.

[45] Speaking of outfits, I saw that, uh, we played the clip last week of Deshawn Foster at Big Ten Media Days saying, uh, his opening statement and how kind of awkward, awkward it was when he said UCLA.

[46] Yeah.

[47] We're in L .A. Chris.

[48] He got USC there.

[49] You want to hit it?

[50] It's us in USC.

[51] I saw that today he wore a shirt to practice that said, we're in L .A. And I love that.

[52] Double down on it.

[53] Laugh at yourself.

[54] Did he ever explain that he just, did he just joke?

[55] We have nothing to say?

[56] It was just, I think we've all been there.

[57] He just got in front of the lights and he just had a moment of just, I lost my train of thought.

[58] I think it's interesting how every coach has their own, like, opening statement philosophy.

[59] Some coaches are like, all right, questions.

[60] Some coaches are like, let me talk for 30 minutes about our punter.

[61] And then some coaches do it in between.

[62] And I guess maybe before he went on stage, he didn't know yet how he wanted to play that.

[63] What was the most memorable one before this one?

[64] Was it Nick Siriani?

[65] I remember he had one that people were like, that was odd.

[66] Well, yeah, he was describing the flower and how it grows and trying to make some crazy metaphor.

[67] and it just wasn't working.

[68] Adam Gaze.

[69] Adam Gaze, that was a weird one.

[70] Adam Gase with the Taco Eyes.

[71] No one did better.

[72] Wow, I forgot about the Adam Gase Taco Eyes.

[73] But nothing was as awkward as, oh.

[74] Like, you're just sitting there saying, say something.

[75] Anything.

[76] Say the colors of your team.

[77] It doesn't matter.

[78] Just say anything.

[79] Was kneecaps being eaten an introductory press conference thing for Campbell?

[80] I believe it was.

[81] And everyone laughed at him.

[82] And I guess the jokes on us.

[83] It was early on.

[84] It might have been a training camp, Is the joke on us?

[85] He was eating kneecaps at some point.

[86] That has never, ever happened to me. Like, I've been...

[87] Never eaten a kneecap?

[88] I haven't either.

[89] No. I've never been mid -thought.

[90] He could boil a kneecap?

[91] Well, he's vegan now.

[92] Yeah, no. Is it a, like, a broccoli kneecap or something?

[93] I've never been mid -thought and just lost it all.

[94] I've been mid -thought and had to, like, stumble enough to where I'm like, all right, around the horn, guys, we got to redo this.

[95] And that's really annoying when you're, like, a third of the way or three -quarters of the way through a segment, and you're just, grew up and you got to redo it.

[96] That's annoying.

[97] But just drawing a blank when talking about your own team.

[98] Like, just say your quarterback's name or something.

[99] I want to replay me losing my train of thought many years ago when talking about Tyron Smith's hands.

[100] This was like early on in my time with the show.

[101] I don't even remember the context.

[102] I'll stop editing to listen to it.

[103] It was funniest thing from the sports weekend.

[104] And during this time, I was so afraid to talk that I'm just like, give me the shortest thing.

[105] Like, whatever it is, it's like, this guy fell.

[106] That's short.

[107] I can say that without stumbling.

[108] So I decided my funniest thing was Tyron Smith holding a football.

[109] That's it.

[110] It was just a football looked really small in his hands, and this is me delivering it.

[111] Chris, what was the funniest thing from the sports weekend?

[112] I got Tyrod, Tyron Taylor.

[113] Tyron Smith, I'm sorry.

[114] They were talking back here, so they were making me a little nervous.

[115] Don't make excuse me. Tyron Smith holding a football in his hands.

[116] It looked so small.

[117] Wow, you limped in with that effort, Chris.

[118] I got rattled right before I went on air.

[119] I'm just going to turn my mic off.

[120] I mean, your last two appearances at the microphone have just been a disaster, man. Like, I don't know.

[121] What was that?

[122] I'm just going to deflect, so I'm just going to stop talking.

[123] When did a football look small in this human being's hands?

[124] They played NBC showed a graphic of Tyron Smith.

[125] And he was like sandwiching a football in his hands, and I'm telling you, it is magical.

[126] Oh, God.

[127] It is magic either, I guess.

[128] nervous.

[129] You can hear the youth and nerves in your voice.

[130] I'm telling you that is when I was afraid to say anything.

[131] Even the second time, you were midway through Tyron and you weren't sure if that was the right word.

[132] Oh my God.

[133] Baby.

[134] Don't make excuse.

[135] Tyron Smith holding a football in his hands.

[136] It was the, it looked so small.

[137] Oh, God.
