The Cincinnati Reds pulled off a thrilling 2-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday night at PNC Park. Elly De La Cruz sealed the victory with a highlight-reel walk-off double play, throwing out O’Neil Cruz at first to end the game. Noelvi Marte led the charge offensively, ripping three doubles with an RBI and a run scored. Nick Martinez was dominant on the mound, tossing seven strong innings and allowing just one run. The Reds will look to take Sunday’s finale to split the four-game set and secure a winning road trip.
