The Cincinnati Reds suffered a rough 12-2 loss to the Miami Marlins on Tuesday night at Great American Ball Park, marking their fourth straight defeat. The loss drops the Reds back to .500 at 46-46 as they continue to struggle both offensively and defensively. Starter Nick Martinez was hit hard, giving up 10 runs in 5 innings of work. The bullpen didn’t fare much better, while the offense couldn’t keep up, managing just two runs on the night.
