Joey Votto announced after the Cincinnati Reds walk-off win that he will have season-ending surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff in his left shoulder. This also shows that the poor numbers he had put up this year was due to him playing through the injury and not because Votto was succumbing to Father Time. The Reds now have a decision to make.
