[72] So, Violet, this is really fascinating to me. I don't know a lot about the profession of stripping, exotic dancing.

[73] How did you learn how to do that?

[74] You just kind of like learn on the go.

[75] You know, there's really, I mean, these days, there's a tutorial for everything.

[76] But when I started in 2015, you kind of just watched other girls and We hope for the best, you know.

[77] Sure.

[78] Just kind of wing it.

[79] I, I, long time ago on the late night show, someone gave me a pole dancing lesson on the show.

[80] And I was shot at how difficult it is.

[81] It takes, I mean, you have to really be in terrific shape to do that.

[82] And I'm always impressed the times that I've somehow stumbled into a strip club.

[83] You know, usually when I'm, no, when I'm doing charity work somewhere and then I fall through a door.

[84] I see.

[85] And it's, I think I'm going into the closet where the supplies are.

[86] They're going to help humanity.

[87] And then I, oh, what?

[88] A strip club.

[89] Well, it would be rude to leave immediately.

[90] But when I'm there, I'm always impressed with the athleticism of the women.

[91] Do you work on a pole?

[92] Because you have to, like, support your whole body weight.

[93] It seems like it's very difficult.

[94] Yeah.

[95] Well, you know, it's funny.

[96] When I was a kid, they failed me out of gymnastics because I was terrified of doing a handstand, wouldn't do it.

[97] So they wouldn't let me pass.

[98] and then now every time I'm upside down on a pole, I think take that gymnastics.

[99] Yes.

[100] If only they had played pour some sugar on me at the gym, you probably wouldn't have been able to pull it off.

[101] It's all about the music.

[102] It just would have clicked in my like five -year -old brain.

[103] I would have been like, this feels right.

[104] Let me at what kind of music do you like to dance to?

[105] Do you have a favorite song?

[106] Yeah, so it's just like any music that's depressing that upset you.

[107] Wow.

[108] Yeah, I have to fight with the corporation all the time because they want really like pop songs uplifting and I'm just like, I want men to cry dollar bills on this.

[111] So like fake plastic trees by, you know, that would be a good one.

[113] How about, yeah, like.

[127] This is, I'm, I'm very happy about this interview because I'm learning a lot.

[128] What is the usual clientele?

[129] What kind of guys do you mostly see at the strip club?

[130] yeah um so for me my sweet spot is between the age of 30 and 60 um i'm in there hopefully a little depressed you know a little bit trotted um kind of introspective you know they're like i don't even know what i'm doing yes yes man i am this you're just i swear to god you were describing me to 18 yeah what else yeah tall redheaded yeah you know just like 90 % legs, 10 % hair, you know.

[131] This is every woman's dream you're describing.

[132] Incredible.

[133] No, but seriously, so that's, you get a lot of, and what's the thing that guys are saying in strip clubs that they don't realize every guy says they think they're the only one saying it?

[134] Oh, God, you know, there's so much.

[135] Every night, it's like I have a bingo sheet and I just check off things, you know?

[136] Oh, you're just like, you're too smart to work hair.

[137] You're too nice to work here.

[138] Do your parents know you do this, you know?

[139] That sort of thing.

[140] Do you have a boyfriend?

[141] Can I take you out?

[142] What are you doing after the shift?

[143] And then I'm like, I'm going to bed.

[144] Dude, it's like six in the morning.

[145] You know?

[146] Yeah.

[147] Well, that must be guys that ask out a stripper.

[148] That has to be, I don't know.

[149] I get men get confused.

[150] Because they think, oh, this woman is dancing for me because she really, men are so stupid.

[151] They get confused about everything.

[153] If you just smile at them, they're like, oh, she wants it.

[154] Yeah.

[155] So, you know, I can only imagine.

[156] I just tell them, like, you don't know anything about me. I could be a serial killer.

[157] Like, you know, it's dangerous for you.

[158] You don't take me home, you know.

[159] That's true.

[160] I would murder.

[161] Yeah.

[164] It would be a great cover to just murder, guys.

[167] And then they ask you out, you go and to the middle of the night, you murder and then you walk away.

[171] I think if an attractive sexy woman was murdering me, I'd just say like, okay, this is just good a way.

[172] I'd be like, go for it.

[173] I'd be like, this is as good a way to go as any.

[196] So, and did you mention you're married?

[197] Is that right?

[198] Yes, that's correct.

[199] Five years as of the 30th.

[200] How did you meet your husband?

[201] So we've known each other since junior year of high school.

[202] And then we kind of like just moved apart, you know, dating different people.

[203] And I actually reunited with him at the strip club.

[204] his friend dragged him in because he got dumped not my husband but his friend and they had my husband be the sober person to drive everybody around and I was in the lobby talking to the door girl and out the corner of my I'm like wait I went to high school with that guy you know and I always had a crush on him so I was like my stage yeah and then I just like slapped him when he came to my stage because I love I love a little surprise smack you know lean in like you're about to kiss them and then just but you can only do it on the right guy you have to feel it out sometimes they might get mad oh so oh I see so you're dancing and then you lean into them like you're going to kiss them and they lean up and then you trick them and you slap them yeah yeah my wife did that on the altar when I got married oh that's hot yeah it wasn't it wasn't hot at all she just realized what she was in for oh she's very disappointed and angry Yeah, but we got over it.

[205] We worked it out with therapy.

[207] So that's so nice.

[208] You've been married a while now.

[209] Yeah.

[210] And you said you're going to take courses.

[211] What kind of courses are you going to take?

[212] So I am working towards my business degree in marketing.

[213] Yeah.

[216] You know, it's kind of boring, honestly.

[217] Like, you know, I went to art school.

[218] I had a full scholarship.

[219] And then I dropped out because I'm like 90 % of this is kind of bullshitting people.

[220] you know like this is why my art is deep you know exactly and honestly if you're gonna make it you don't have to go to art school you just put yourself out there and I'm like I need a backup I can't dance forever as much as I would love to you know so that's my backup what's the most money you've made in one night Conan I'm just curious oh you know what that's like I'm just curious what you can clear at a night I forgot about it I don't know I don't think that's inappropriate to ask somebody how much money I'm not I mean I'm wondering you on a good one What's that?

[221] Oh, go ahead.
