[2] The C -Spire deal between Israel and the terrorist group Hamas held for a fifth day today, even as both sides claim that the other violated the temporary truce during a northern Gaza confrontation.
[3] Hamas released 10 Israeli citizens and two foreigners.
[4] Israel released 30 Palestinian prisoners in exchange.
[5] Meanwhile, mediators met in Qatar in Hong Kong.
[6] hopes of extending the deal through Wednesday.
[7] U .S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken will return to Israel in hopes of seeing the temporary truce extended.
[8] Israel has vowed to resume its war on Hamas with full force once it's clear no more hostages will be released.
[9] After Hunter Biden was subpoenaed earlier this month, his attorneys say the president's son is open to testifying publicly before the House Oversight Committee.

[11] In a letter to the committee's chairman, James Combe, Biden's lawyer, Abby Lowell, suggested opening the door in response to the potential closed -door session with the president's son.
[12] Lowell claimed that previous closed -door sessions have been used to, quote, manipulate, even distort the facts, and misinformed the public.
[13] Comer hit back in a statement he posted on X, in which he accused Biden of, quote, trying to play by his own rules instead of following the rules required of everyone else.
[14] While Comer agreed that Hunter should have an opportunity to testify publicly in the future, he said the subpoena requires Biden to appear for a deposition first.
[15] Former U .S. ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley picked up a big endorsement today from the political network backed by billionaire Charles Koch.

[17] The announcement came in a memo to grassroots campaigners.
[18] It came alongside the announcement of a multi -million dollar ad campaign to start this week in states that hold early primary contests and any state that votes on Super Tuesday.
[19] The endorsement will fuel Haley's campaign as it tries to catch the current second place primary candidate Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
[20] In response to the Haley endorsement, the DeSanis campaign issued a statement congratulating former President Trump.
[21] A campaign spokesman said, Every dollar spent on Mickey Haley's candidacy should be reported as an in -kind to the Trump campaign.
[22] No one has a stronger record of beating the establishment than Ron DeSantis, and this time will be no different.
[23] DeSantis and Haley are in a critical stretch of the race if either one wants to have a shot at unseeding the former president.
[24] The 41 construction workers who are trapped in a northern India mountain tunnel have all been rescued after nearly two weeks.
[25] Locals erupted in celebration over the happy ending to a tense situation that gripped the nation for days.
[26] The country's minister of road transport and highways said in a video that he was completely relieved and happy that all the workers are now safe.
[27] Here he is speaking of the well -coordinated effort.
[28] The silki -era tunnel's cause, who 41 bachelors were left out, and they're out of their No one was seriously injured or killed when the tunnel collapsed early on the morning of November 12th.
[29] The workers were extracted one by one on a wheeled stretcher that was pulled through a roughly three -foot wide tunnel of welded pipes.
[30] Crews had pushed those pipes through the collapsed dirt and rocks.
[31] Each worker was given a check -up at a makeshift medical camp in the tunnel entrance.
[32] A 14 -year -old North Carolina high school student is suspected of stabbing two of his peers, killing one and injuring another during what police describe as a brawl in the school's gym on Monday.
[33] Cell phone video of the incident shows dozens of students rushing into Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School's gym when the suspect pulled out what appears to be a knife and struck two students.
[34] The victims were taken to a nearby hospital where one of the students, a 15 -year -old boy, died of his injuries.

[41] Hospitals in at least three states were hit by a massive cyber attack last week, causing them to divert emergency patients to other nearby hospitals.
[42] Ardent Health Services said it also had to shut down major parts of its computerized services, including Epic Systems, a program that tracks patients' health care records.
